A great exfoliating homemade foot can be done at home with simple ingredients, such as sugar, honey, and ginger. The particles of sugar are large enough for that to be pressed against the skin, remove the layer of rough skin and all the dead cells. The honey, ginger and oil moisturize deeply the skin, giving a smooth touch to the feet.
This exfoliation can be done up to two times per week, during the bathroom, or when it is the pedicure, for example.
- 1 tablespoon of refined or crystal sugar
- 1 spoon of ginger powder
- 1 tablespoon of honey
- 3 tablespoons of sweet almond oil or another
Mix very well all ingredients. After you form a paste, apply it by rubbing with quick movements and circulars on dry feet, insisting on areas that are more rough, such as the heel and the instep of the foot. The following simply rinse with warm water, dry with a towel and pass a moisturizing cream to the feet.
The exfoliation removes dead cells from the region, leaving the skin more thin due to the withdrawal of the outermost layer of the skin, rich in keratin. Moisturize after this process it is very important to form a protective barrier and does not interfere with the protective barrier of the skin. A good tip is to do this scrub at night and wear socks to sleep.
